With more people opting for an unattended cremation with no service, friends and family may opt to have a Memorial Service to reflect, grieve and seek some closure.
There are no rules in the creation of a Memorial Service. It can be anywhere you choose, perhaps in your home, village hall, outdoors or a place that was special to your loved one. It can include anything that is most appropriate to them, such as music, poetry, songs, speeches or symbolic actions such as lighting candles. Family and friends are also welcome to participate.
A Memorial Service allows complete flexibility in terms of timing and planning. The service can take place soon after, or several weeks, months or years after your loved one's passing. You may choose to hold a memorial service to mark a special anniversary or a birthday.
A Memorial Service provides an opportunity to celebrate the life of your loved one, without the constraints of time, venue, or preconceived ideas. I will work closely with you to create and deliver a personal ceremony that truly reflects and celebrates their life and how they touched the lives of all those who shared their love and friendship.
